We want Mentor to work for everyone who wants a mentor, including people who use a screen reader, larger text or reduced motion. This page says where the app stands today, including the parts that aren't finished.

What works today

• Text follows the text size you set on your phone, so Larger Text on iPhone and Font size on Android make the app's text bigger too.
• Most buttons and controls carry labels for VoiceOver on iPhone and TalkBack on Android.
• Some animations switch off or simplify when Reduce Motion (iPhone) or Remove animations (Android) is on.
• You can talk to Mentor or type to it. Every spoken reply also appears as text in the conversation.

Known limits

• The app has a dark interface only. There is no light mode yet, which may make it harder to read for some people.
• We are still testing the whole app with VoiceOver, TalkBack and the largest text sizes. Some screens may have unlabelled controls, clipped text at very large sizes, or a reading order that doesn't make sense.
• Not every animation respects Reduce Motion yet.

We have not had the app audited against WCAG or any other accessibility standard, and we don't claim that it conforms to one.

If something in Mentor is hard or impossible to use, email info@mentoraiapp.com. It helps to tell us your phone model, its operating system version, which accessibility settings you use, and the screen where you got stuck. We read every report and will reply.
